At the Land Board meeting last week the following business of local interest was transacted : The Chief Surveyor forwarded a plan and descriptions of sections in vi, Lauder district, subdivision of part of Matikanui Run.—The pkn was approved and the delails are as follow : Section 14, area 99a 3ro 26p0, capital value per acre 18s; section 15, 100 a, 18s; section 16, 99a 9r 24p0, 16s; section 17, 99a 3r 14po, 16s; section 18, 100 a, 16s; section 19, 99a0r02p0, 14s; section 20, 77a Ir 28po, 14s; section 21, 49a 3r 36p0, 14s; section 22, 14a 3r 06po, 10s: section 23, 48a Or 34p0, 10s; section 25, 99a Or 38po, 12s; section 26, 98a 3r Olpo, 14s; section 27, 89a, lr llpo, 14s; section 28, 99a 3r, 16s; section 29, 99a 3r 29p, 18s; section 30, 96a Or 33p0, 18s. The Board decided to reduce the rental of yearly license held by G"N M'lntosh over sections 4, 5, 9,10 and 15, block v, Tiger Hill district, section 4 having been taken up under lease in perpetuity, to £6 lls6d per annum. The Warden reported on the application by Mrs Margaret Dick for an occupation lease under " The Mining Districts Land Occupation Act, 1894," over two acres, Leaning Rock district. Referred to the Ranger io'r report. The application of Michael John Keliher, for leave to transfer lease of section, 151, block ii, Leaning Rock district, to Edwin W Attfield was approved.
