The following business of local importance was dealt with at last week's meeting of the Waste Lands Board:— Malcolm Isbister wrote stating that he intended making an application for 300 acres on Run No 261 a, Poolburn dittrict.—Referred to ranger for report. The Under-Secretary of Lands wrote stating that the Minister had approved hi the board's recommendation in regard to section 45, Block n, BlackBtone district —Granted to H R Martin under occupation with right of purchase; capital value 20s. An application by F W Schmetzer for leave to transfer L.I.F. 1173, sections 53 and 54, Block x, Leaning Rock district, Earnsclengh Settlement, to James, Oummock and John M'Oonnell was considered, and it was decided to recommend the Minister to approve of the transfer under the tmmttrctanoei declared by the lessee.
