Alexandra Gun Club.
The first shooting match under the auspices of the above club was held on the Alexandra Corps' rifle range oa Saturday afternoon jast. The. meeting ■ proved highly successful, and arm* first-class shooting was witnessed. Twenty competitors took part in the match, many of whom came from.' Ida Valley and other places. The eon* ditions were fifteen shots aft cltty pigeons, and competitors had.the option of making a double nomination, of which several availed themselves. The prizes were : First, £7 ; second, £2 ; third, £1; fourth, 10a. The'fiwt prize was taken by Mr B. Burgess, of Alexandra; the. second and third by Mr T.
