The local team have played five inter-club matches this season, and have come out successfully on each occasion—in point of fact, they have had an easy win every time Taking this into consideration, and desiring to sen the Alexandra team at their best, it was suggested that a combined team from Clyde, Cromwell, Low burn, and Bannockburn should be chosen to try conclusions with our boys. If this match eventuates, a leally jrood game will be witnessed on the day mentioned, though it is somewhat doubtful if the Alexandra team will be able to fcore a victory against such « formidable combination,
