VON NIDA LOSES IN • EXHIBITION
GREENS VERY HARD (P.A.) PALMERSTON N., March 1. Norman von Nida, the Australian professional golfer, was beaten by K. S. Glendinning and D. G. Leng-Ward, 1 up, in an exhibition best ball match at Hokowhitu to-day. The hard condition of the course and the greens was not conducive to good scoring. Von Nida was two under par on the outward run, but came home five over.
