FLOWER SHOW
LOWCLIFFE FUNCTION SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE A successful public flower show was staged in the Lowcliffe School on Saturday evening, conducted by the Lowcliffe Women’s Institute. The judges were Mrs S. P. Taylor and Mrs D. Shaw of the Willowby-Eiffelton Women’s Institute. Prize-winners in the various sections were: Cut. Flowers Pansies (7): Mrs Srhoy 1, Mrs D. Lloyd 2, Mrs W. Boyd 3. Mrs E. Barnes presented the prizes to the winners in each section, and to Mrs W. Boyd for the most points in the whole show.
During the evening two brackets of songs were sung by Mrs D. O’Sullivan. Mrs McAdam acted as accompanist. N Supper was served by Women’s Institute members.
