Air Mail Services Trans-Tasman air mails close on Monday to Friday at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at noon. Air mails within New Zealand close at the Ashburton Post Office: North bound— Monday, Wednesday, Friday, at 2 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, at 4 p.m.; Saturday at noon; Monday at 5 a.m.; Monday to Friday (inclusive), at 8 p.m. Southbound—Monday to Saturday (inclusive), 7 a.m. Overseas Mails (Outward) Mails for Overseas will he closed and forwarded as opnortunity offers.
