Mrs Reid made presentations to Mrs Mackie, Mrs Voice, and Miss Lena Letham, and particularly praised them for their fine work for the P.W.M.U. as well as for the church generally. Mr C. A. Fyfe presented Mr Guy Letham with a gift from the congregation and thanked him for very long, generous and sincere service to the church. Mr Letham had assisted in preparing the site for the present church, and had served that church faithfully up to the present day. Messrs J. G. Marshall, R. E. Cairns and R. F. Letham also spoke in terms of high praise of the departing friends, who later made feeling replies.
