J. R. MATTHEWS UNABLE TO LEAVE (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 27. Reuter says that the Harlequin and England second-row forward, J. R. Matthews, is unable to go on the British Rugby Union tour of New Zealand. C. O. Roberts (Penryn and England), a back-row forward, has been invited to fill the vacancy.
