DOMAIN BOARD

ADDITIONAL LOAN SANCTIONED The Ashburton Domain Board, at its meeting last evening, received the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board to the extra loan of £6OO proposed for the erection of the curator’s house in the Domain. The Ashburton Schools’ Sports Association was granted the use of the Domain Oval for its annual sports meeting on March 25. A letter of thanks was received from the Hornby School Committee, in appreciation of the facilities provided for their recent school picnic in the Domain.
