TINWALD CLUB
RACE ON SATURDAY The Tinwald Cycling Club held a 12-mile road race in conjunction with the Tinwald War Memorial “Variety Pair” on Saturday. The start and finish of the race was at the Tinwald Domain entrance and a good crowd gathered to view the race. The limit men, R. Skilling and T. After the-race Whyte received medical attention from the officer of the Sir John Ambulance in attendance (Mr A. F. Rodd) and it was discovered that during the event a bee had crawled under his riding jacket and administered a nasty sting. Results were:—R. Skilling (4£mm.), 29min. 53sec., 1; T. Digby (4§min.), 2; J. Whyte (scr), 3; D. Bain (lmin.), 4; J. Tate (lmin.), 5; J. Keeley (lmin.), 6; J. Ching (lmin.), 7.
