TIRED OF SAVING
MOHAMMED RETURNING HOME ~ LONDON. Forty years ago Mohammed Boe left his wife, his one-year-old son, and seven-year-old daughter in Karachi, and set off 4,0 San Francisco to make a fortune. But Mohammed made no fortune. Eventually he decided to start saving his fare home. Now, his £290 fare paid, Mohammed passed through London on his way back to Karachi. “It’s been a long time,”- said Mohammed, now 77 years old, as he waited for his piano to leave London Airport. “1 am very tired, tired of saving, and tired of being away.
