MALAY TERRORISTS POLICE POST WIPED OUT (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Oopy right). (Rec. 9.30) SINGAPORRE, Feb. 23. Communist terrorists practically annihilated a remote police post at Bukit Kepong ini the Muar area of Johore to-day, killing 13 police, six auxiliary police, women and two children, and seriously wounding three more regular police. All the casualties Aver e Malays. One' police constable who escaped, said a force of 300 guerillas attacked the post. After a three-hour battle they burnt the station to the ground and made off .with a .considerable amount of arms and ammunition. The total casualties are the heaviest suffered in any one terrorist attack since.- the emergency was .declared in Malaya 21 months ago. Ten dead or wounded terrorists were keen being carried aAvay by tlieir comrades.
