WOMEN’S DIVISION Mrs C. Beavan, president, presided over a very good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Lynnford branch of the W.D.F.F. In future meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the month. 'Remits to go before the interprovincial conference were discussed. The roll call was “a child’s funny saying” and it was well responded to. Results of competitions were: Best flower, Miss P. Bishop 1, Miss L. Noble 2, Mesdames L. Moore and McLauchlgn (equal) 3; bowl of Zinnias, Mrs Bishop 1, Mrs L. Moore 2, Mrs L. Noble 3; four mixed savouries, Mrs L. Noble 1, Mrs G. Moore 2, Miss P. Bishop 3; three runner beans, Mrs G. Moore 1, Mrs Gibson 2, Miss Bishop and Mrs Hill (equal) 3; prettiest Christinas card, Mrs L. Noble and A. Mclntosh (equal) .1, Mrs L. Moore 3, Mrs French 4.
