ATOMIC TESTS AT AT ENIWETOK

TROOPS TO PREPARE GROUND SOON WASHINGTON, Feb. 21. The Army Department announced 'to-day that it would soon send a de tachment to Eniwetok atoll, in the Pacific, to lay the groundwork for the forthcoming tests of new atomic weapons. The department would prepare facilities for the men who would follow to conduct the actual tests. The United Press says that new types of atomic weapons developed since the last tests will be used. Authoritative sources have emphasised that the hydrogen bomb will not be tested.
