ELDERLY MAN FOUND DEAD
BULLET WOUND IN HEAD (P.A.) NAPIER. Feb. 22. An elderly man was found dead in the backyard of his home this noon with a bullet wound from a .22 rifle in his head. He was James William Chapman, aged 71, widower, retired builder, of 61 Nelson Crescent. Chapman was living alone. A son-in-law, worried about his failure to appear for the mid-day meal, searched and found the body.
