January Total Sets Record
LONDON, February 20
The value of United Kingdom exports in January reached the record level for one month of £175,900,000, an increase of £15,500,000 over the previous record of last November, and £19,400,000 higher than the fourth qharter average.
Imports at £201,200,000 were £4,100,000 more than the average for the preceding quarter, and only £500,00 less than the record figure for June.
