COUNTRY GIRLS’ CLUB VISIT TO PEEL FOREST Members of the Eiffelton Country Girls’ Club had a most enjoyable outing last Thursday, when they went to Peel Forest for a picnic. The party of about 20 arrived at Peel Forest after nearly an hour and a half travelling. While there some of the girls climbed to Rata Falls, some to Emily Falls and others walked to the Big Tree and to Look-out Point, where they could see most of Canterbury. The bus arrived back at the Eiffelton School at 3 p.m., as it had to take the children home. This was the first bus trip held by the club, and it proved a very successful outing.
