TINWALD YARDS

GOOD QUALITY FATS There was large yarding of fat sheep in to-day’s stock sale at the Tinwald yards, and prices were fully firm at late rates. Some of the sheep were of extra good quality. A pen of eight wethers secured top price of 62s for IP. M. Price (Lowcliffe), while 25 sold on account of E. C. and H. White (Eiffelton) secured from 61s Id to 6Ps 7d. Top price for ewes was secured by W. G. Sheate (Westerfield). The range of pifices for fats was: Wethers —Extra prime, 55s to 625; prime, 49s to 54s 6d; medium, up to 48s.

Ewes —Extra prime, 30s to 32s 7d; prime, 27s to 29s 6d; medium, to 265.
