DEATH REPORT DENIED

Churchill Very Much Alive (Rec, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 16. Mr Winston Churchill to-day denied a report that he “died this morning.” A little earlier his private secretary had denied a report that he was ill. Mr Churchill said the death report was “a 'good example of the whispering campaign which is being set on foot.” With, a chuckle, he added: “It would have been more artistic to keep this one for polling day.”—Reuter.
