FRENCH TO TEST ROCKETS

MATERIAL BEING SENT TO NORTH AFRICA PARIS, February 14. A Communist-inspired demonstration to-day revealed that France is about to conduct experiments with guided missiles, apparently in the north of the Sahara Desert. * About 1000 workers, answering a call from the Communist-led General Labour Confederation, attacked a lorry containing war material and dumped the contents into Nice harbour. Official sources later confirmed that the material was. a pylon, for a Y2 rocket ramp—one of three such pyjons being shipped to Oran. The demonstration was called in tlio belief that the material was being shipped to Indo-China.
