JUROR COLLAPSES IN COURT
CASE ADJOURNED SECOND TIME FOR NEW JURY (P.A.) * DUNEDIN, Feb. 13. The collapse of a juror in the Supreme Court this morning ended the second attempt to try George William Iwell ,aged 45, a labourer, on charges of indecent assault and attempted suicide. The first jury, empanelled last Wednesday, was discharged after Mr. Justice Kennedy discovered irregularity in the procedure. This morning a doctor was giving evidence when the juror slid from his seat to the floor. He was examined by the doctor and taken to hospital. The judge discharged the jury and ordered a new jury to be empanelled on Wednesday.
