ORDERED TO RESIGN
LEFTIST SCHOOLTEACHERS IN JAPAN (Rec. 10.0 p.m.) TOKIO, Feb. 13. The Japanese Government to-day ordered 246 alleged Leftist schoolteachers to resign, within 24 hours. Immediate resignations would be treated as “voluntary,” but teachers who delayed would)be suspended. The move followed the Questioning of 500 kindei’garten, primary school and high school teachers. The dismissals are the widest in a series of recent moves to purge the Education Department of alleged.“red and pink teachers.
