MAN FINED AND IMPRISONED. HIS WIFE NOT SUPPORTED. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Before Mr H. W. Salmon, S.M., Harold Byron Chandler, aged 00, who registered for unemployment as married, but had not been supporting liis wife for the last 23 years, and obtained £lßl from the fund, to which he was not entitled, was fined £SO, and sentenced to 14 days imprisonment for making a false declaration.
