DAYLIGHT CROSSING.
THE ATLANTIC FLIGHT. FIRST TRIAL TO-MORROW. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 4. An Atlantic passenger service allowing breakfast in Europe and supper in America is foreshadowed by the first all-daylight crossing to be made by Pan-American Airways Clipper 111. from Foynes (Ireland) to Newfoundland on Friday, starting at dawn. All the previous flights have been at night, but Imperial Airways and Pan-Ameri-can Airways agree that passengers prefer a daylight crossing. The Pan-American Clipper left Southampton this morning for Foynes in readiness for her return crossing. The Imperial Airways ’plane Cambria is expected to make the return crossing to England simultaneously—-British ■Official Wireless.'
