PALESTINE PARTITION.

CONSIDERATION BY ZIONISTS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, August 3. The Zurich Zionist Congress, which will he attended by 450 delegates from 00 countries, will open to-day. The Zurich correspondent of “The Times” says the chief issue is the British Royal Commission's partition plan for Palestine, on which keen and even violent discussions are expected. Dr. Chaim Weizbann (president of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) has publicly appealed to the delegates not to reject the plan entirely. He says this would be unwise at a time when the world for the first time is discussing such a term as a “Jewish State.” Preliminary conferences of various groups indicate that the congress will reject the plan in its present form.
