FAVOURABLE BALANCE
AUSTRALIA AND AMERICA. FIRST TIME SINCE FEDERATION. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. For the first time since the Federation of Australia was achieved there is a favourable trade balance with America. In the last financial year exports exceeded imports by £1,047,000. This figure takes into account the export of bullion and: specie valued at £5,630,000.
