MINIATURE RIFLES.
THE STAVELEY CLUB. At the shoot of the Staveley Miniature Rifle Club last evening M. Flynn won the junior hotty button, and G. Goldsmith, after a shoot-off, won the junior trophy. Miss L. Smith won the ladies’ hotty button. Tlie senior hotty button was taken by D. Grieve. After a number of shoot-offs E. Burgess won trophy No. 5, and shooting for No. 6 will be started next Monday. The following were the best scores:— D. Grieve 78, E. Johnstone 78, L. Bansgrove 77, E. Burgess 77, H. Norman 76, G. Burgess 75, J. Taylor 75, R. Ferguson 74, M. Johnstone 74, ETotty 74, E. Houston 73. THE WILLOWBY CLUB. At tlie weekly shoot of the Willowby Miniature Rifle Club the junior members’ trophy presented by Mrs Maginness was won by E. Smith. The following are the scores:— Juniors—E. Smith (20) 68, J. Knox (22) 63, C. Annett (12) 70, D. Killey (4) 73, J. Stenton (15) 65, E. Harper (9) 73, K. Knox (10) 72. Seniors—L. Prattley 78, 75, G. Maginness 78, 74, Ri. Mac Kay 77, T. Whearty 76, J. Maginness 74, J. Arnst 74, A. Houston 73. The hotty button, was won by L. iPrattley.
