DUNEDIN, This Day. o A further loan of £loo*ooo for municipal -housing was authorised by the City Council last, evening, following a loan for a similar sum in May. It was claimed by one councillor (Mr Silverstone) that the Council had given owners the most liberal terms in New Zealand and that the municipality could not suffer loss. Some councillors suggested a pause till the success of the Government’s local housing scheme was demonstrated.
