WRESTLING.
MARSHALL AND WE ST CO ATT DRAW. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 29. Westcoatt proved himself a master of showmanship in a bout with Floyd Marshall at Hawera to-night. The match was drawn. Marshall secured a fall in the fourth round, and Westcoatt evened in the last round after flying tackles and a drop-kick. WALKER DEFEAT'S BRONOWITZ. WELLINGTON, July 29. George Walker beat Frank Bronowitz by a penalty fall in a professional wrestling bout at Wellington to-night. In the third round Rronowitz knocked Walker down repeatedly with fisticuffs in spite of the warnings by the referee, Mr T. Bidder, who promptly awarded a fall to Walker. Although Walker showed much of his old cunning, and Bronowitz twice made use of impressive toeholds, the bout was remarkable more for its vigour than for science. The preliminary bout was also a professional match, between Tony Felice and Louis Szabo, which was remarkable for the difficulties experienced by the referee and attendants in separating the combatants. At one stage there were five men interlocked in the ring.
