NEW COMPANY TO BE FORMED. JOINT GOVERNMENT CONTROL. ALLOCATION OF PAYMENTS. /United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Minister of Defence (Sir Archdale Parkliill) announced that it has been arranged by the Governments of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom that the trans-Tasman air mail service should be controlled by a new joint company, in which each Government will be represented by three directors. Australia is to bear 23 per cent, of the payments to the company, the United Kingdom 38 per cent, and New Zealand 39 per cent., subject to review every three years. The new company will be granted mail contracts. 1 STATEMENT BY MR SAVAGE. INFORMATION LIKELY IN MONTH WELLINGTON, July 29. Definite information about a Tasman air .service is expected by the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) in a month. In an interview he said that the delay had been mainly due to the Question of control, whether Imperial Airways should take over the service or some other organisation. There was a committee dealing with the question now. Mr Savage added that he felt there was cause for impatience over the delay in the matter.
