WOMAN REMANDED.

ACCUSED OF STABBING MAN. VICTIM’S CONDITION SERIOUS. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Kathleen Waitoa, aged 35, who was found hidden in the bush at Jerusalem yesterday afternoon by Detective Murray, being wanted in connction with the alleged stabbing of Albert Edward Davey, a settler, at Jerusalem, was brought before Mr Salmon, S.M., this morning, charged with causing grevious bodily- harm to Davey. She was remanded till next Thursday. The police intimated that the condition of Davey was still uncertain. He is suffering from internal haemorrhage.
