TO PLAY IN CURTAIN-RAISER. METHVEN TEAM BEFORE TEST. The Watters Cup, for the senior Rugby championship of the Ashburton County, has been won by Methven thi'.* years in succession. This club, Which., has fielded a strong team in the last three years, will play Christchurch Old Boys in one of the curtain-raisers to the second Test match between the All Blacks and the Springboks at Christchurch on September 4. TEAMS FOR SATURDAY The following will represent their respective clubs in football matches on Saturday:—• Technical Old Boys. Third Grade against Allenton, at Showgrounds—Fitzgerald, McCall, Muir (2), Sheehan, Walls, Christie, Manson, Pritchard, McCormack, Hyland, Chilton, McKay, Hood, Long, Cornwall.
