ENGLISH SOUTH COAST.

THItEE-DAY MANOEUVRES

LONDON, July 4. The most thorough preparations are being made for one of the most important tests since the Great War ol the defence forces of th-ei South Coast of England. The tests will occupy three days from July 19. All forts from the Thames to 'Land’s End will be manned under war-time conditions. Officers and men will be on duty every minute of the day. There will be “air raids” staged over coastal towns, ports and batteries, as well as “gas attacks.” Military experts will watch the entire proceedings.
