PURCHASES APPROVED. (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 27. The Cabinet has approved the purchase of approximately 15| acres at Masterton for housing, several acres at Dannevirlte for at least 30 houses and tjlsree acres at Nelson. It also has approved: the purchase of approximately 79 acres owned by the Metropolitan Trotting Club, Christchurch, on which are two residences, one of 15 rooms, which will probably be converted into flats for pensioners. The tenders of T. Ferguson and the Love Construction Company have been approved for nine houses at Wakari, Dunedin.
