A Russian communique states: — Stubborn battles continue from Vladimir-Volynski to .the Dniester. We captured some positions. ■ Our detachments in tho Caucasus made a sudden resumption of tho offensive. In cooperation with the fleet they advanced on a wide front in the coastal region, capturing a, fortified position in the region of tho river Karaburnum. , . , Our advance guards broke through westwards of Kalkst Livtoik, inflicting great losses. They destroyed .earthworks, in the enemy's rear. ' The - Rxisso-Roumanian offensive in tho Dobrudja continues.
