The "Daily Graphic" says:—"Lord Bryce conducted an enquiry into Gorinan atrocities, listened to harrowing evidence, and' signed an indictment placing Germany amongst the outcast nations. Yet ho now talks of not banning the wholo nation."
Tho "Graphic" declares it ie incorrect to charge the Allies with hating and desiring revenge; they merely loathe the Germane.
The spaper associates Lord Bryco with Sir J. A. Simon in " a pernicious campaign."
[A cablo massage published yesterday was as follows: —Lord Bryce, addressing the .Congregational ..Union, said we might bd compelled to impose severe torxn's on our. enemies, but ho urged tho repression of passion and deprecated » trade war becauso of the immense opportunities for mischief. The chief consideration in peace terms should bo a durable peace. J
