RESCUE OF PRISONERS
(Renter's Message). 3LONDON, October 1 A Br-lgialt communique flays:—
"General Tombeun reports that when Tabora was raptured tho one-mr left 50 Europeans and" 300 natives dead. One hundred officers and non-eommifc.sioned officers and numerous natives- were' taken prisoners. Four guns were also' taken.
"The Belgians released 139 European prisoners of war or irrl-ernoes, of-whom 103 wore British. Thirty-five of the prisoner:, were missionaries, 30 being Fronuh missionaries."
