AN OAMARU RESOLUTION.
OAMAHU, October 1
After the close of the. - shops last night a very .large and enthusiastic meeting was held iv the street, afc which the following resolution, moved by the Mayor, was carried iiiuimmously amid cheers:—
"That- this monster lmvt.inp; of Onninru and North Otago citizens nnd rosidonts hereby cordially and sincerely desires to congratulate .My Lloyd George on hfe great manifesto, as reported to-day, and iv common with Uie whole British Empire endorses to ; the letter his sentiments .'"id aspirations, and Ihat the Covernment be rennested: to transmit this resolution iv t.he British War MimsLer."
