HAYWARD'S PICTURES
MARY PICKFORD AS "RAGS."
The bill to be submitted at His Majesty's Theatre this . evening is headed by a picture that should not fail to attract good attendances at each screening, since the name of Mary Pickford is sufficient warrant of the quality of any film with which it is associated. The name of the latest Pickford feature is "Rags/ and the Famous Players Company is responsible for its production. The story opens with the tragic love story of Alice McCloud, who makes a fatal choice, and sinks into misery and want. She dies in giving birth to a child, and it is with the history of this child, who earns the nickname of "Rags," that the picture is concerned. "Rags" lives a wretched existence, but whereas her mother's career .began in happiness and ended in woe, that of "Rags" takes a .tui^i for the better, and after many vicissitudes she attains to bliss. , Mary Pickfo'rd's performance, in the role; of "Rags" ranjes: high among her successes. The programme accompanying the big picture is said to be worth seeing also. . ■
