Ai a meeting of ihe * Trades and Labour Council .hist, night .strong criticism of i-ho Labour Department was voiced for what were -termed the "go slow" methods-of the Department in connection with breaches of awards. It wa-s contended that evidence produced showed that employers were protected at the expense of employees. The council decided to collate all the facts and £ake action in connection therewith.
