ALL ATTACKS.

LONDON, September 21. Sir Douglas Haig reports:— ! Heavy rain continues. ; ; The Germans made many strong counter-attacks south ward of [Ancre, but the New Zealanders beat off all attacks, inflicting severo losses, a large number of dead remaining in ■front . of; our . .lines. ■ Same prisoners were taken despite this heavy fighting.
We advanced our front in this neighbourhood, and earned out several successful .minor enterprises at other points. •
