FOOTWEAR REGULATIONS ACT.
AUCKLAND, September 21. What were said to be the first prosecutions in the Dominion under the Footwear Racvulntmns Act came up; for hearing in the .Police Court to-day. Two Auckland firms, Millers, Ltd.,'and Hallenstein Bros., .were charged with exposing; for sale* certain footwear, composed partly of leather and partly of other materials, without having" a statement of such materials legibly stamped on th^ nvto.r surface of each" footwear. A fine of £5 was imposed in each case. <
