SITTING MEMBER DEFEATED.
The poll for the election of a representative 'on the Ashbui'ton Hospital and Charitable Aid 'Board for the combined districts of Hampstcad and Tinwald, was held in conjunction with the Town Board elections. Two candidates were nominated. The poll resulted as follows:— Hampstead. Votes. Henry Davis ... ... 160 George William Andrews ... 109 Informal 7 2 Tinwald. Votes. Henry Davis 130 George William Andrews ... 43 Informal ... ... 2 Majority for Henry Davis ; 138. Mr G. W. Andrews thanked the electors at Hampstead who had supI ported him, and congratulated his op : ponent on having been elected.
