A BIG FIRM CONDEMNED

A witness stated that out of 100,000 badly-made pairs of trousers, only 100 were rejected. H. H. Soar and Company paid him £5, and also a half-penny-for each, pair passed.
The jury expressed the severest censure upon Soar and Company, and Mr Justice Low added that it was a great pity that they were unable to punish them.
