METHVEN SALEYARDS COMPANY
ANNUAL MEETING,
The annual meeting of the Methven Saleyards Company was held in the Company's oiiico on • Thursday. Mr W. Morgan presided over an attendance of 10 shareholders.
The balance-sheet showed a net profit for the year ending March, 31, 1916, of £133 2s 3d. The report and balancesheet were adopted subject to the item for income tax being correct.
It was resolved r>7i the motion of Mr T. Mangin, seconded by Mr McLean, to pay a dividend of 10 per cent, for tho past year.
The chairman and secretary were instructed to take the necessary step 3 in regard to unclaimed dividends, and to .pay the amount involved to the "Wounded Soldiers', Fund.
Messrs W. Morgan, A. Orr, and J. T. Mangin were appointed" directors for the ensuing year.
On the motion of Mr A. McFarlane, senr., seconded by Mr T. "Doherty, a hearty vote of thanks was passed to the secretary (Mr J. F. Stone) and to the directors for the excellent work done by them. ; Mr J. W. Bowden was re-elected auditor .for'the ensuing year. , ..' ; , : :', ■"■Accounts amounting to £8 3s were passed for payment.
