' .WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. "Regulations were gazetted to-night constituting military districts, groups., and areas." The Canterbury military district comprisos tho following groups:— No. 9 (Christchurch) Group, comprising the Counties , of Waimairi, Healheote Paparua, Halswell, Mount Herbert, Akaroa, Wairewa, and Chatham Islands.
No. 10 (South Canterbury) Group, comprising the Counties of Ashburton, Geraldine. Levels, Waimate, and Mackenzie. • ■ No. 11 (North Canterbury) Group, comprising the Counties of Amuri, Cheviot, Waipavra, Ashley, Kowai, Rangiora, Oxford, Eyre, Tawera, Malvern, Springs, Ellesmere, and Selwyn. No. 21 (West Coast) Group, comprising the Counties of Westland, Grey, Inangahua, Buller, and Murchison. i No. 12 (Nelson) Group, comprising tha; Counties of CollirigTrood, Takaka, ,Waimea,' Sounds, Marlborubgh Awatere, amd Itaakoura.. ■ „ .;. . Each group shall include all cities, boroughs, arid town districts which are included within the exterior boundaries of any county comprised in that group.
