HEAVY FIGHTING IN ALL ZONES,

(Received September 18, 10.55 a.m.) PETROGRAD, September 17. A communique states:— There has' been stubborn fighting on the right bank of the Zlota Lipa. Southward of Braezany we dislodged the enemy. Fighting continues in the region of the river Naraiuvka and the PodvysckeHalicz railway. Tho enemy ha,vo already suffered great losses in killed and wounded, and we have taken 3174 German prisoners. Snow is falling in the Carpathians. The Turks, on Saturday night, attacked our advance guards on the Karaburna front, in the direction of Esselli, and were repelled with great losses. Turkish attacks south-west of Kyghi and west of Ray at were unsuccessful.
