Mr Cuthbertson defended The Sergejhnt, in giving evidence, mid the man had been living with or at least paying attention to another woman, and allowing his wife and children to go without food. The wife was wholly destitute, and had been supported by the neighbours, and had finally, in consequence of her delicate and neglected condition, had been taken to the hospital.
