Auckland, February 15. ' At the third series of wool pales to-day, about 720 bales were sold. The competition for lambs' wool was exceptionally keen, the prices ranging from 6J<l to ShA. The prices for the other wr»ols ranged as follows :—Good crossbred, 6id to 7"d ; fine crossbred. 7sdto 8d ; Lincoln, 6£d to 6|cl; merino, sjd to G£d ; inferior wool, s*d to s|ci. The bidding was throughout fainy brisk, the prioec averaging about the same as at the previous sale.
